Trek to the Highest Peak of South Bengal: This two-day itinerary offers a scenic trek to the highest peak of South Bengal. Starting from Purulia Station, the journey includes exploring popular spots in the Ajodhya Hills area such as Mayur Pahar, Upper Dam, S-Turning, and more. After sightseeing, a guided trek takes you to the beautiful Chemtaburu Peak, where you’ll spend the night in tents with a warm bonfire and delicious barbecue. The next morning begins with a short trek and a peaceful sunrise, followed by the descent and return journey. A perfect mix of nature, local beauty, and adventure.
Our car will pick you up from Purulia Station and take you to the base of Chemtaburu Hill, near the beautiful Marubhasa Dam. On the way, enjoy a refreshing breakfast to start your day right. Upon arrival, you'll meet our friendly local guide, who will accompany you on an exciting trek to the top of the hill.

After reaching the peak, our guide will set up tents, collect wood for the bonfire, and make all the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay. As evening falls, the bonfire will be lit, creating a cozy atmosphere that continues through the night. Meanwhile, a delicious barbecue and dinner will be prepared on-site, with dinner typically served around 8 to 9 PM. With good food, warmth, and stunning views, Day 1 comes to a peaceful close under the stars.
Wake up to the fresh mountain air and start your morning with a warm and simple breakfast of Maggie, boiled eggs, bread, and your choice of tea or coffee. After breakfast, enjoy a peaceful morning trek around the peak of the hill area, taking in the stunning views one last time.

Following the short trek (approximately 1 hour), you'll begin the descent back to the base near Marubhasa Dam, where our car will be waiting to pick you up. On the way back to Purulia Railway Station, we’ll stop for a satisfying lunch to wrap up the trip on a high note.
