Trek to Gojaburu Hill: This two-day trip takes you on a peaceful trek to Gojaburu Hill, one of the beautiful peaks in the Ajodhya Hills. The journey starts from Purulia Station and includes visits to scenic spots like S-Turning, Usuldungri Sunrise Point, Mayur Pahar, and Upper Dam. After breakfast, you’ll trek to the peak and spend the night in tents with a warm bonfire and tasty barbecue dinner.
The next morning begins with a short trek around the peak, enjoying the fresh air and views. After that, you’ll trek back down to the base, where our car will take you to Purulia Station, stopping for lunch on the way. It’s a perfect short getaway filled with nature, calmness, and a little adventure.
Our car will pick you up from Purulia Station and drive you toward the base of Gojaburu Hill, passing through the scenic Ajodhya Hill Road. On the way, enjoy a refreshing breakfast to start your day on the right note. Once you arrive, you'll meet our friendly local guide, who will lead you on an exciting trek to the peak of Gojaburu.
After reaching the top, the guide will set up the tents, gather firewood, and handle all the essentials to make your stay smooth and comfortable. As evening sets in, the bonfire will be lit, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere that lasts through the night. While you unwind, a tasty barbecue and dinner will be prepared, usually served between 8 to 9 PM. Surrounded by nature, good food, and starry skies, Day 1 ends on a peaceful and memorable note.
Wake up to the fresh mountain air and start your morning with a warm and simple breakfast of Maggie, boiled eggs, bread, and your choice of tea or coffee. After breakfast, enjoy a peaceful morning trek around the peak of the hill area, taking in the stunning views one last time.
Following the short trek (approximately 1 hour), you'll begin the descent back to the base, where our car will be waiting to pick you up. On the way back to Purulia Railway Station, we’ll stop for a satisfying lunch to wrap up the trip on a high note.
